On 2 April, the Supervision Committee of Latvijas Banka decided to issue insurance licences to AS Sincera Insurance for the following classes of non-life insurance: land vehicles (other than railway rolling stock) insurance and miscellaneous financial loss insurance.
Upon examining the provided documents, Latvijas Banka has concluded that AS Sincera Insurance complies with the requirements established in Section 21, Paragraph one of the Insurance and Reinsurance Law which serve as the basis for Latvijas Banka to issue insurance licences.
With AS Sincera Insurance obtaining its licences, five non-life insurance companies licensed in Latvia are now operating in Latvia. They are listed in database of market participants.
