The Audit Committee oversees the preparation of Latvijas Banka's financial statements and the functioning of the internal control system, as well as the internal audit and external auditors' activities.
The Audit Committee of Latvijas Banka in its new composition was approved on 31 January 2022.
Two out of three Members of the Committee are independent professionals selected through a competition and are not the officials or employees of Latvijas Banka.
